The opportunity
As senior planner, you are responsible for coordinating domestic or international transport routes to and from our location in Schoonebeek. You process transport orders daily, create schedules, and ensure that goods are picked up and delivered as agreed. In doing so, you will work closely with the Customer Service department, drivers and charter carriers.

What do we ask from you?
- MBO+/HBO working and thinking level;
- At least 5 years of experience as a planner;

- Experience with MS Office and transport systems;
- Knowledge of road transport with a focus on open transport;
- Knowledge of driving time legislation, documents and permits;
- Commercial insight and an eye for costs versus benefits;
- No 9-to-5 mentality and willing to work in alternating shifts and weekends.

In this role, you will demonstrate your expertise in the efficient and safe loading and unloading of project cargo, as well as in assigning the right tasks and responsibilities to operational personnel.
What are your tasks and responsibilities?
- Supervising and occasionally performing the loading, unloading, and preparation of project cargo for shipment
- Leading banksmen and/or riggers during the execution oflogisticsprojects
- Coordinating and aligning the project schedule with various subcontractors/partners present at the project site
- Monitoring project progress in relation to the planning at the office
- Advising on schedules and timelines for projects
- Inspecting and advising on the maintenance condition of project equipment
- Maintaining administration and verifying the proper handling of transport documents and/or (crane) tickets from both internal and external personnel
- Conducting risk analyses for specific project components
- Identifyingissues and intervening when projects deviate from the plan
- Overseeing the safety level and environmental impact oflogisticsactivities at the project site;

A Crane Truck Driver transports, loads, lashes and unloads equipment, machines, constructions and road plates, among other things. You carry out the work on a truck equipped with a truck-mounted crane.
Your working method is safe and accurate. You operate the crane, adjust the vehicle correctly and take the maximum lifting capacity into account.
